Clear, high-contrast graphics make the app easy to use when out and about with your camera, even in bright light.

The 'Basic Settings' section provides an easy to understand technical overview, including an explanation of sensor sizes, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and focusing.

The 'Initial Set-up' section guides you through the process of setting up your camera from 'out of the box' - and understanding what the key buttons and dials actually do!

The 'Take a Picture' section enables you to choose from a variety of different types of image, and new ones will be added over time, based on feedback.

It then provides specific advice on what settings to use for each type of image, as well as links to more detailed background knowledge on each one.

For example, which starting aperture to use for each type of shot, based on the size of the sensor in your camera, and then how to determine the correct shutter speed.

Each section gives specific details for each shot type - for example,  how to blur the background or capture moving elements.

The 'Why Learn Photography?' section explains the benefits of using a 'proper' camera vs using a phone camera, and other things you might need to consider while learning.

The 'More Information' section includes links to more detailed tuition content that gives extra context to the information in the app itself.

Links to this additional content can also be found throughout the app in relevant locations, so you have access to more details on key points as you need them.
