PHOTOGRAPHY TUITION DIRECTORY

All of the photographers shown below offer 1-2-1 and/or small group tuition services, and have specifically agreed to be added to this directory. They are listed in alphabetical order by the nearest town or city to their location, so please scroll down to find someone close to you. Most of them will offer services outside of their main location, so if there isn't one in your town - hopefully there will be someone not too far away who can help! This directory is growing all the time as well.

Why am I doing this?

As someone who also offers photography tuition services (in my case in and around Milton Keynes) you might wonder why I'm promoting other tutors' services as well. I set up this independent directory as I firmly believe that face to face tuition is the best way to learn. YouTube videos and free online courses are helpful to a point, but there is no substitute for sitting down with a real photographer, going through the basics of aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and then learning how to control your own camera - so you can take the type of shots you've always wanted to.

However, finding someone local is not always easy, and there are limits to how far it's practical to travel - both for the photographer and the student. So the idea of this directory is to help people find someone who is at least fairly close to where they are!

Many of the photographers listed here also offer tuition in more advanced skills, or in specialist areas - as well as editing tuition in packages such as Lightroom and Photoshop. More details can be found on each person's website or by contacting them - along with pricing, and information about how tuition can be structured. Please note, I do not have individual experience of each one's services, so the listings on this site should not be taken as a personal endorsement.
