I'm writing fairly regularly for AP Magazine now, so I thought I'd share links to my two most recent articles on here as well, for anyone who might be interested.
My April article was titled 'Why getting it right in camera is just a myth' and explains my reasoning behind why I believe that editing is a vital part of photography, and just as important as taking the shot in the first place.
Then my May article was possibly a little more controversial when I asked the question - "Is the 'learn for free on YouTube' mentality just discouraging beginner photographers?' My argument here is that people are generally willing to pay for tuition to learn a musical instrument, or to hire a sports coach, but not to learn photography - but why is that?
I'm just cooking up an idea for my June article - so watch this space!
En travaillant sur un projet destiné au marché français, j’ai vite compris que les attentes en matière de présence digitale sont assez spécifiques, notamment en termes de ton et de clarté des contenus. En comparant différentes approches, je me suis intéressé à une agence digitale francaise qui semble privilégier une structure assez cohérente entre stratégie et exécution. Ce qui m’a marqué, c’est l’importance accordée à la compréhension du parcours utilisateur avant même de penser à la visibilité. Ça m’a poussé à revoir certaines pages de mon site pour les rendre plus lisibles et mieux organisées. Depuis, je me rends compte que même de petits ajustements peuvent améliorer l’engagement.
