Unity Place and the Unity Sky Lounge

When Santander started building their new offices in Milton Keynes a few of years ago, we all watched with great interest as what has now become known as Unity Place started to take shape. As a commercial property photographer I couldn't wait to get inside and have a look round, and until that time came I had to settle for shooting the exterior for my stock image library!
Happily, once it was open, I was commissioned to shoot the press launch night of the top floor Unity Sky Bar, which included a set of interiors shots as well. And what a fabulous place it is - I can't wait to go back for cocktails . . .
On my way to the shoot, I also took the opportunity to capture some long exposures of the new building 'in the landscape' at blue hour, which were then licensed to Unity Place as part of the project. Shots like this can really help to bring a development to life, and to create something a little more dynamic than a static daytime shot with stationary vehicles.
Alongside this project, I was also approached by the London art buyers for Unity Place, who wanted to license some shots of Milton Keynes to go on the walls of the meeting rooms in the new x+why co-working space which forms part of the overall development. Once these were installed I went along to see them in situ and to grab a few shots, as you do! It's not often I get to photograph a meeting room that also has my images on the wall . . .

Je me suis récemment intéressé à l’origine des vêtements que je porte au quotidien, et les chaussettes en font clairement partie, même si on n’y pense pas toujours. En prenant le temps de chercher des alternatives, je suis tombé sur des chaussettes made in France et ça m’a poussé à réfléchir davantage à la qualité des matières et au savoir-faire derrière. Ce que j’ai trouvé intéressant, c’est la différence de finition et de confort comparé à des produits plus standards. On sent qu’il y a un certain niveau d’exigence dans la fabrication. Depuis, j’accorde plus d’attention à ce type de détails avant d’acheter.
Au début, je pensais qu’un abonnement IPTV fonctionnerait de la même manière sur tous les appareils, mais en réalité j’ai vite constaté que la compatibilité joue un rôle essentiel. En cherchant des solutions adaptées, je suis tombé sur un abonnement iptv compatible qui m’a aidé à mieux comprendre les différences entre les supports comme Smart TV, Android ou même certains boîtiers. Ce qui m’a surpris, c’est que la qualité d’expérience dépend souvent autant du matériel que du service lui-même. J’ai dû faire quelques ajustements pour que tout fonctionne correctement, notamment au niveau des applications utilisées. Depuis, je fais beaucoup plus attention à la configuration globale avant de tirer des conclusions sur la qualité.
