INTENSIVE TUITION DAYS

If you're looking to kick start your photographic journey, or take existing skills to the next level, my one-day intensive tuition sessions could be the ideal solution! The day is totally tailored to your specific requirements, and can cover a mix of photography and editing, or just one or the other - whatever you need to progress as a photographer. I have many years' experience of teaching both areas, from beginner level to advanced skills. Please get in touch if you'd like to know more.

How it works

A standard day will run for six hours from 10am to 4pm, including a break for a chat about your photographic aspirations over a bite to eat at lunchtime! I've found that this is an optimal amount of time to cover as many areas as possible, at a sensible pace - but not so long that it becomes tiring and you start to 'switch off'. However, longer sessions can be arranged if you would like.

All of the technical aspects we cover will be followed up with detailed notes, so you don't have to remember everything on the day!

I am based in Milton Keynes and normally run sessions in and around the city, but I'm happy to discuss other locations - London for example - should you wish, for an additional travel charge. Week days and weekends are available, and we can discuss dates when you book.

A six hour tuition day in Milton Keynes is £240, with additional hours at £40 an hour. I also offer Gift Vouchers that can cover these sessions, should you want to add one to your Christmas or birthday list!

Is this type of tuition right for you?

One of the biggest challenges with photography is finding time to get out with the camera, or learn new editing skills.

By blocking out a whole day, this gives you the opportunity to really focus on what you want to achieve and which aspects you'd like to learn - from 'off auto' shooting skills and basic editing techniques, to more advanced photography skills and more complex post processing in Adobe Lightroom. The choice is yours, and we can plan our day in advance to ensure you get exactly what you need from it.

If we agree a date and then you find you need to reschedule, I will try to be as flexible as possible, but please give me as much notice as you can.
If the weather forecast is looking very poor I will contact you in advance and we can agree whether to move the date or not.
As this is a full day session, I do ask for payment on booking, and will provide bank/PayPal details at the time. However please note that if you need to cancel completely for any reason, rather than reschedule, then I am not able to offer a refund.
